PANE is legally registered as a national coalition in Ethiopia with the Ministry of Justice No 1936 in July 2005.PANE is made up of over 95 civil society organizations representing various sectors and spheres.  These include: Local NGOs/ CSOs; (i.e. women’s groups, HIV/AIDS groups, education, pastoralist groups, etc...); International NGOs; research-focused Organizations;Faith-based Organizations;Professional Associations; Community-Based Organizations (CBOs); Regional Women & Youth Associations; etc. In addition PANE has Regional Chapters in all the 9 regional states and Dire Dawa city Administration.
