PANE aspires to see absolute poverty eradicated and the people of Ethiopia living in dignity and freedom.
To empower and capacitate member Charities, enhance partnership with key stakeholders and enable the active involvement of its members individually and collectively in the poverty reduction and sustainable development process of the country.

- PANE is facilitative and innovative & is open to change and learning,
- PANE reflects the interest and concerns of its members in all consultation and dialogue forums with key stakeholders,
- PANE encourages its staff and members to enhance transparency and accountability mechanisms in the work of the network and in the process of implementing their Charity works;
- PANE members respect each other’s unique experience and perspective and take ownership of the network in sprits of cooperation and sharing.
Overall objective/Goal
The overall goal of PANE is to reduce the level of poverty and enhance sustainable development of the country through primarily empowering and building the capacity of CSs and local level stakeholders for their active engagement in the policy process.
- To genuinely participate and support the formulation, implementation and monitoring of sustainable development and poverty reduction and other related programs and strategies of the country;
- To create enabling environment and enhance the capacity of member organizations to effectively participate in the formulation, implementation and monitoring of sustainable development and poverty reduction and other related programs and strategies of the country;
- To enhance partnership of member organization with other like-minded organizations working locally and globally;
- To conduct action oriented research in the areas of poverty reduction and sustainable development, organize consultation and dialogue forums and disseminate the results to the government, member organizations and relevant stakeholders;
- To enhance transparency and accountability mechanisms of member organizations;
- ·To enhance networking and support information sharing and experience sharing among member organizations and like-minded organizations working locally and globally around issues of development and poverty reduction;
- To enhance the capacity of member organizations and stakeholders through trainings, awareness raising and by organizing experience sharing visits to share best practices that supports the effective implementation of the country poverty reduction programs and strategies.
